MY CHETTINADU HOUSE

after four months of hard work i finished my chettinadu painting...:)
really loved it lik anything..

Chettinad is rich in cultural heritage, art and architecture, and is well known for its houses, embellished with marble and Burma teak, wide courtyards, spacious rooms, and for its 18th century mansions. Local legend has it that their walls used to be polished with a paste made out of eggwhites to give a smooth texture.

FLORAL PAINTINGS

SUDHI GANAPATHI.....
size : 26"*34"

The Lotus flower has great spiritual significance in the east. Some people say that this beautiful flower which grows up out of the mud, is symbolic of the emergence of an enlightened being from the dirt, chaos and illusion of the human world.

It is my favorite flower, so I just wanted to create a piece of art which the subject is about lotus. Of course, It was fun with the modern composition as well as the presentation of my unique style
