MY CHETTINADU HOUSE

after four months of hard work i finished my chettinadu painting...:)
really loved it lik anything..

Chettinad is rich in cultural heritage, art and architecture, and is well known for its houses, embellished with marble and Burma teak, wide courtyards, spacious rooms, and for its 18th century mansions. Local legend has it that their walls used to be polished with a paste made out of eggwhites to give a smooth texture.

  1. The traditional house that i like the most is Chettinad house... The painting is really too good, but it cud have been better if the house was illuminated by bright sunlight rather than this dim light & am not sure in which its filled with... Thot's n imaginations vary frm person to person n ur work is very much appreciative...

  2. Realistic work . See how the light diffuses thro the upper opening of the house to interiors..
